Every year, the Purdue Alumni Association holds a ball and auction. I've always wanted to go, but never had the chance. This year, we got to go... I got to go on a fancy date with dinner and dancing!!
The theme for this year was Venetian Masquerade, and while Marcus was in New Orleans last fall, he picked out a couple of really cool masks for the occasion! After getting the mask, I was on a mission to find a dress to go with it. Thanks to an after-Christmas holiday dress sale at Macy's, snagged a smokin' dress on deep-discount! It was the last one on the discount rack, and it fit! Now, I have to figure out where to wear a black, sequin sheath dress again.... play date or PTL meeting?!!?
What made the event even more fun is we got to reconnect with some old friends! We sat with a friend from our PMO days... thanks for the great time, Ashley and Mike!
